1)

Where do I start?

Please call us at (305)-800-528 to speak with a staff member who will schedule you free consultation at a time that is most convenient for you, with one of the firm’s attorneys. During your free consultation, the attorney will determine how our firm can best represent you and your case.

2)

What are your business hours?

Our business hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. However, please feel free to call or email us after hours. We are committed to returning our client’s and potential client’s calls and emails within 24 hours or less.

3)

What will the legal fees cost me?

We are committed to providing you with the most cost-effective legal representation. We can arrange hourly, contingency, and flat fee agreements.

4)

Will I have to go to court?

Not necessarily. Throughout the process of representing our clients, we strive to achieve the most cost-effective solution. Considering the strength of the evidence in your case, your plausible performance during a deposition and your need for closure, the majority of cases settle before ever even getting to trial. However, we have the extensive trial experience needed to stand confidently with you, counsel you, prepare you for court, and, most importantly, be able to represent you in a court of law correctly.

5)

What happens if your firm cannot handle my case?

We will first look at your case and give you our honest option to handle your case. If we are not the adequate attorney for the case, we will give your case to another qualified attorney who will take it or provide an off-counsel attorney for a second opinion. Sometimes, we handle cases with other attorneys as co-counsel in the case.

6)

Why should I trust your firm with my case?

Choosing a law firm to represent you and your case is one of the most important decisions you can make. Here at EDAMLAW, we understand that your point is essential to you, and choosing the right firm and attorneys to represent you could make the difference for your case.

7)

How long will my case take?

It can vary. The duration of a case is often dictated by the individual court in which the claim is filed. Some courts designate a period to discover evidence by each party that may be a year or longer. Other courts have a backlog of cases, and therefore, the oldest subjects in a county will be considered before a more recently filed claim. Though some cases settle before going to court, a settlement would not usually occur until just before the scheduled trial.

8)

How much can I expect to win in personal injury claims?

Unfortunately, it is challenging to predict how much a case may be worth in the early stages. Many factors, including the judge and jury members, are assigned to a case trial, which makes each case unique, and a specific monetary award cannot be predicted.

You can expect to have experienced trial attorneys at your disposal. Attorneys whom both prior clients and other lawyers are willing to refer due to their knowledge of our traditional strengths, ability to advocate difficult and complex cases effectively, and desire to work cooperatively and ethically to receive favorable results for our clients. We want you to trust that we are here to help you during difficult times when faced with a lawsuit. We expect you to come to us with any questions or concerns that you may have. We want you to be honest and responsive to us to prepare you for any possible depositions best.
